USER AGREEMENT

Welcome to www.passporttogreece.com (the “site”).  By using or accessing this website whether you are a property owner or agent (an “advertiser”) or a potential renter (a “holidaymaker”) you are subject to the following terms & conditions of use.  Please read these terms thoroughly before using our site.  By using our site you are confirming that you accept these terms of use.  Please do not use our site if you do not thoroughly agree to these terms of use.

We are an advertising portal for advertisers and an accommodation search facility for holidaymakers.  Nothing in these terms of use or in your use of our site creates or is intended to establish any partnership, joint venture or agency between us.

Although we provide a tool to enable a transaction between an advertiser and a holidaymaker we have no involvement in the booking process and are not a party to any rental transaction.  Any contract for the rental of any property listed on our site is directly between an advertiser and a holidaymaker.  It is the sole responsibility of the advertiser to be eligible to rent the property and the sole responsibility of the holidaymaker to pay for the rental. 

It is the sole responsibility of the advertiser to advertise their property truthfully, accurately and fairly.  All information about the properties has been provided by the advertisers and reproduced by us in good faith.  Holidaymakers are advised to confirm with the advertisers that all the information relating to the property is accurate and up to date prior to booking. 

We take no responsibility for negotiations between advertisers and holidaymakers and therefore accept no liability for any problems arising out of these negotiations.  Holidaymakers are advised to confirm all the terms of the proposed contract in advance of the booking.

The text files, images, photos, maps and other site material (the “content”) are for your perusal only.  You may not copy, reproduce, upload, post, display, re-publish, distribute or transmit any part of the content in any form whatsoever.

We do not own, have any control over or inspect any of the properties listed on our site.  We make no claim as to the quality, safety or legality of any of the properties listed on our site.  We have no duty to pre-screen content posted on our site by advertisers or holidaymakers and as such we disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance on the information posted on our site.  We do not take part in or take responsibility for any property management issues.

We do our best to prevent intentional misuse of our site and dissemination of harmful programmes on our site. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any intentional misuse of our site or the distribution of viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer. We have no control over the content or resources of links to other sites provided by third parties and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

We take every care to maintain the continuity of our site, however the internet is not a stable medium and interruptions of service and delays can occur at anytime and the site may be inaccessible as a result of technical difficulties experienced by us or the internet.  We may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the site at anytime where we have legal, commercial or technical reasons to do so.

We do not tolerate spam, therefore we do not authorise either advertisers or holidaymakers to add a user who has rented a holiday property from them or to them, to a mailing list with out their prior permission. 

We disclaim any and all liability for accuracy of the listings or any breaches of contract on an advertisers part, including but not limited to errors, omissions or changes to a property description, amenities, facilities, location description, availability, pricing, suitability etc.

We reserve the right to revise these terms of use at anytime by amending this page. 

 

ADVERTISERS USER AGREEMENT

We act merely as an advertising service through which you can advertise your property to users of our site.  We make no representation or guarantees regarding the capacity of any user of our site to make a booking with you and as such you agree to waive any claim you may have against us that is in anyway connected with a dispute you have with a user of our site and to compensate us for any losses or liability suffered as a result of any such claim.

It is a requirement of advertising on this site, that upon request you are able to confirm proof of ownership of the property advertised on this site or proof of authority to advertise and offer for rent the property advertised on this site.

Prior to activation of an advertisement all material (the “content”) you submit is subject to our approval.  As part of that process and in an ongoing capacity we reserve the right to review and amend any content you supply.

An advert will not be activated until written confirmation of receipt of the full payment has been issued by us.

It is the sole responsibility of the advertiser to advertise their property truthfully, accurately and fairly and to disclose any material defects. 

A property advertisement on our site relates to a specific property and this property must not be substituted for another by way of changes to the text and/or photographs unless prior written permission has been given.  These changes may be subject to an administration fee.

In respect of any content you provide to us you will retain all intellectual property rights.  By advertising on this site you agree to guarantee to us that the material you provide is your own original work and not entirely or partially copied from any other source and that you have all necessary permissions to upload the material.  You agree to compensate us for any losses or liability suffered as a result of any claim against us by a third party in relation to the content you provide.

We reserve the right to remove an advertisement from our site following a proven complaint from a holidaymaker or another advertiser regarding misrepresentation of the property, its amenities, facilities, suitability, location etc without prior notice and to retain the full payment.

We reserve the right to decline posting to our site any material that fails to meet our content requirement.  We reserve the right to refuse or remove any advertisement from our site that we consider to be unsuitable, incomplete or misleading and will not be liable for any expense incurred by doing so.

If an advertiser wishes to remove their advertisement from our site before the end of their subscription period, written notification must be sent quoting the relevant property code.  No refunds will be given.

Advertisers are required to be available to respond to enquiries by both telephone and email.  Should advertisers be aware they will be unavailable for a period of one week or more then an answerphone message or an email out of office autoreply must be set up.  We reserve the right to suspend without refund the advert of an advertiser who is un-contactable for more than one week.

All customer testimonials must be genuine comments from your guests and we reserve the right to request the full contact details of the guests whose comments are published for the purposes of verification.

Advertisers are not permitted to request payment from a holidaymaker by cash sent in the post or via an instant cash transfer system such as Western Union, Moneygram etc.  Such actions will result in immediate termination of your advert without refund.

We reserve the right to remove email addresses and external website links from an advert which we feel are not appropriate or act against our interests.

We reserve the right to revise these terms of use at anytime by amending this page.  We reserve the right to change the advertising fees without prior notice.  Any new rates will be immediately applicable for all new advertisements and renewals for existing advertisers.
