The villa lies behind Skiathos Town approximately 1km from the ring road that skirts the islands capital and connects it to the outlying resorts, villages and numerous sandy beaches. Skiathos Town is a bustling little place where you can chose to dine on the waterfront, explore the cobbled backstreets or enjoy a coffee at a pavement café on the main shopping boulevard.
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches in Skiathos, you can choose from organised beaches backed by tavernas and bars with sun beds and umbrellas for rent, to almost deserted rocky outcrops offering good snorkelling opportunities. The nearest beaches to the villa are Xanemos and Megali Ammos although many others are worth venturing to. Even Koukounaries which is probably the islands most well known beach and situated at the far end of the island is still within an easy 15-20 minute drive.

This charming family home built from wood and natural stone wonderfully complements the surrounding environment. Approached by a little used narrow country lane it is hard to believe that such privacy and seclusion can be found in such close proximity to the islands bustling capital. This detached villa set over one level sits amongst gardens teeming with olive trees, fruit trees and colourful bougainvillea. The friendly and hospitable owners have opened up their family home to allow guests to experience all that Skiathos has to offer.
The spacious open plan living and dining area features a log burning corner fireplace and is furnished with plenty of comfortable sofas (one of which can be converted into a bed), with entertainment being provided by the home theatre system, satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. The large formal dining table can comfortably seat six, whilst an additional smaller table and chairs for less formal dining is provided in the kitchen. The separate kitchen features an electric oven & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Three steps lead to the sleeping area where the three bedrooms are located.
The master double bedroom with walk in wardrobe features its own en-suite bathroom (where the bath tub with shower over is set on a slightly sunken level). There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedded room furnished with bunk beds making it suitable for children. These two bedrooms share the full family bathroom.
Wi-fi internet access is available and laptop hire can be arranged on request. A safety deposit box and hairdryer are provided and a baby cot and highchair can be supplied on request.
Outside the 7.5m x 4m private swimming pool with walk in steps ranges in depth from 40cm to 1m 60 cm. The extensive pool terrace is furnished with sunbeds allowing sun worshippers to soak up the rays poolside, whilst those looking for a quiet moment with a book can seek respite from the midday sun under the large shady pergola. With a built in BBQ provided outdoor living in the warm summer months can be enjoyed to the full.
